Prowl: Easy Push Notifications App Reviews

This nifty little utility opens a whole range of possibilities for keeping an eye on your mac. Setup could be easier (Growl should be a standard part of OSX :-) ), the display of the list of received notifications is rather crude (will probably be improved in future versions), but the service gained is huge.

This application would be better if we could choose our own custom sounds from iOS Sound settings.

This app is doing the job as it should, few more features could be added like custom sound, but the bad part is the really poor design

The app doesnt auto-refresh on start with iOS 9. May you fix it please ?

Try to touch the config button twice! it will crash!

Since iOS 9.1 I dont get notifications and prowl does not wake up my phone from standby anymore. Now my smart home is broken. We need an update fast. Edit: Thanks for the update. It took a bit long but finally its here and everything is working great again.

This app worked fine for years, but now has some errors. No support anymore, the developer doesnt answer. Poor. Dont buy it.

Im using it constantly on all my iOS devices since its release to fetch chat notifications, server-side issues, incoming crash reports, you name it. Enormously fixable, a simple yet precise UI and most importantly, it just works! Great job!

Nice and cool app, but unfortunately the nofitications are saved in plain text on the servers - this is a no-go!

I really love this app and prefer it over pushover because of its message quota/rate limit! Reliable push service, never lost a message! But I wish there I could use colors in text and that it would display colors according to the priority. Everything looks the same! Also an API call for sounds would be great!

Growl is almost limitless, making the use of this app limitless! Setup is a bit tedious but probably not possible to have it done differently. Hope the app gets a makeover once the developers sell more copies to make it worth their troubles. Customizable push text would be pretty neat by the way (and worth the last star).
